As our Middle East presence continues to grow, we are now seeking a
Director of Academy to lead the next chapter of our learning practice and help build long-term client partnerships and regional impact across the GCC and EMEA.
Head of Growth
The Head of Growth will own and lead ATÖLYEs regional growth strategy across the UAE and wider Middle East and act as a Client Partner. This is a senior, hands-on role combining strategic planning, business development, partnerships, marketing and account growth.
You will work closely with the CEO and Studio leadership to shape market positioning, develop key accounts, unlock new verticals, and build a scalable, high-quality growth engine aligned with ATÖLYEs values and long-term vision.
This is not a traditional sales role — it is a strategic growth and relationship-led role for someone who understands complex, consultative, project-based businesses and how to scale them thoughtfully.
Main Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional growth strategy across priority markets (UAE, KSA, GCC).
- Act as a trusted client partner, building strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders and acting as a primary point of contact throughout the lifecycle of engagements.
- Work closely with studio leadership and engagement to identify target sectors and stakeholders
- Shape ATÖLYEs regional positioning, narrative and value proposition.
- Build and manage senior relationships with key clients, partners, government entities and ecosystem players.
- Lead high-value opportunity development — from first contact through proposal, negotiation and close.
- Develop strategic partnerships that create long-term pipeline, not just transactional revenue.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure strong client outcomes and repeat business.
- Grow existing accounts through trusted advisor relationships and expansion opportunities.
- Ensure that growth is aligned with capacity, quality and delivery excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years experience in growth, business development, strategy, consulting, or commercial leadership roles.
You should have a strong understanding of the design network in the Middle East - Bilingual in Arabic is highly preferred but not essential. Strong English is essential.
- Experience working in or selling into complex, project-based or professional services environments (consulting, design, innovation, transformation, technology, architecture, etc.)
- Strong understanding of the Middle East market, especially UAE and KSA.
- A track record of building long-term client relationships and sustainable revenue.
- Confidence engaging with C-suite, government, and senior stakeholders.
- A consultative, thoughtful and values-driven approach to growth.
